- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had hip replacement surgery in November, 2011. Dr. Rothrock uses an anterior incision which reduces the chances of dislocating the prosthesis post surgically compared to a posterior incision. It has been four years since the operation, and I have had no pain or other difficulties whatsoever. My golf game has also improved dramatically.
